Engaging Makabul and Geri Communities: Advancing Inclusive Leadership for Garissa 2027

As part of my ongoing efforts to engage all communities that call Garissa County home, I had the honor of meeting with elders and community representatives of the Makabul clan. Our discussions were constructive, focusing on the importance of inclusive leadership, shared responsibility, and the collective progress of Garissa County as we look ahead to 2027.

These engagements are critical to fostering mutual understanding, strengthening unity across all communities, and ensuring that every constituent feels represented in county governance. The Makabul elders reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative leadership and their support for initiatives that advance balanced development throughout Garissa County.

Continuing with my deliberate effort to engage every segment of our county, I also met with respected elders and leaders of the Geri community. The discussions enabled candid dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing Garissa, and reinforced our shared vision of inclusive governance, equitable development, and collective responsibility.

Through these interactions, I emphasized the importance of working together to build a more united, prosperous, and resilient Garissa. I also highlighted my commitment to listen, learn, and partner with community leaders to ensure that all voices are heard as we mobilize support for the UDA party and President William Ruto, and as I seek your support in my bid for the 2027 gubernatorial election.

These engagements with the Makabul and Geri communities serve as a foundation for stronger collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the future of our county. Together, we can ensure that Garissa moves forward under inclusive and visionary leadership.
